These are not the best photos but my camera is not new nor top of the line! This wall hold lots of our antique and other needle work. Yes that is the cat tower our fur babes got for Christmas to the left...;-)
I gave up trying to get a good pic and went to this mode with no color and came out best! The mantle dressed up with a lot of nutcrackers!
Our walls are not this bright yellow but lighting would not do right in here!!
These two small trees hold old family ornaments. The kitties did good with no bothering them. Snow fella was new buy this year .
I have used the table trees for at least last four years. I like them easy to use no need to move furniture about an kitties do not bother them at all!! DH wants to use the tall floor tree next year. Boots and Wiggles will be older then so may be okay...will see.
Found this book a few years back had to have it as that sweet opossum elf has my name! The antique quilt is from Uncle Ollie's grandmother.
I placed the tree in archway between living room and dining room. Worked fine.
Snow angel on top of tall clock with Aunt Dot's old deer. The photos on left are my Mama's parents the ones on right are my Father's parents and grandmother.
I love lots of ornaments on our trees! So many of these go back many years. Have been used on our trees since we have had trees!
Some were gifts and others are family treasures we were handed down.
We buy new ones every year. Those painted Santas are from craft show. Love hand made!
We also have our angels in heaven on the tree.
I have a November birthday and love Christmas decorating so folks will bless me with ornaments or other sweet decor items.
The kitties were sleeping elsewhere when I took this pic. We enjoy watching those two play up a storm on that tower! So funny! The old blanket chest is from DH's Grandmothers family
Well that is about all the good pics I managed to take. Did not do much decor in other rooms.
We plan to enjoy the decorations a bit longer.
Makes it all feel so cozy in the evening or on these last few gray days. I do make a mess when it all comes down! So it can wait...;-)
Happy New Year!
