White Christmas Tree

Yes we went with a white tree in our dining room this year!
I love it! It is a small one.
We bought 2 small trees last year at sales.
This one for dining room and one for living room which you can see on my other blog here.

It looks like there is not a lot on it but really is!

Up close you can see all ornies better!
Went with red , candy, ginger folks fun theme.

A tree ornament train set I have had for many years.

I am so lucky that so many of my old glass ornaments have made it unbroken!

Santa suit and hand painted snow fella.

Some ginger folks and candy garland.

What would Christmas be without a truffle!

Sweet pup to remember all our sweet lil beagles.

Jump up Santy!

Lil ginger gal ornie!

Ginger Fella. So cute.

Santy seems stuck in that chimney!

I placed it in front of the china cabinet and mirror.
Works for us! Can enjoy it for Christmas Eve and Christmas meals!

Will share more decor pics later.
Running behind this year!!

Hope you are all set big day is almost here!!!
Happy Christmas!

Sharing our Fall....

Welcome to our Fall home!!
I know I am a bit late in sharing these pics.
Sadly they were lost for a while.
DH had loaded them up for me and so I had to go hunting for them!!!
Oh well.

Found this pretty piece at one of my thrift store haunts back in the summer!
Sits on the mantle now.

This was the mantle with a few Halloween items.

Another Punkin Head doll on the antique oak wash stand.

Used some blue and cream plates on the shelf.

Vintage Homer Laughlin Plates

I bought these awesome Homer Laughlin plates along with a couple pretty tablecloths from a local thrift shop.
You can read about that here.

Plan to use them with these Homestead China plates during Christmas holiday.

See how the red and green look great together!

Now these are not vintage but so very pretty!!
Walmart finds!!!
Had to have them as I am now starting my amaryllis plants too.

They also look great with the green Homestead China!
I get a chuckle thinking I paid more for these than the vintage ones!!!
I do adore my Fall look for now but I am looking forward to doing up for Christmas as well!!!

Fall is in the Air

Fall is cool and crisp mornings but warm days.
Sunshine setting off the warm colors of Fall.
All the shades of golds and oranges mixed with the evergreens.
Beautiful time of year!
Time to begin our cozy and comfy nesting inside before the cold winds of Winter blow.
Enjoying the harvest season.

This china platter is a very pretty Fallish one.
Made by American Limoges, Sundale.
Old Books and vintage paper weights.

The old dough bowl is full of small pretty pumpkins and gourds.

Soft light from the vintage tin lamp makes it all cozy.

Our Fall table is set with new and old items.
Sunflower plates new from the thrift store!
